About Me

Process the Past. Heal the Wounds. Build a Life That Feels Safe.

My Clients

Trauma doesn't always look the way people expect it to. Sometimes it shows up as a constant sense of unease, a feeling of being disconnected from your own body, or patterns in relationships that you can't seem to break no matter how hard you try. Sometimes it lives in the nervous system long before it ever makes it into words.

I work with children ages 7 and up, teens, adults, and families who are ready to gently and safely begin the work of healing from the inside out. My clients are often navigating the lasting effects of complex trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and attachment wounds that have quietly shaped the way they move through the world and relate to the people they love.

You don't have to fully understand what happened to you to begin healing from it. You just have to be willing to show up and I'll meet you there.

My Approach

I am a trauma-informed, EMDRIA-trained therapist and doctoral candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I bring both advanced clinical training and deep compassion to every session. My work is slow, intentional, and always paced to what feels safe for you because healing from complex trauma is not a sprint. It is a carefully supported journey back to yourself.

My integrative approach draws from:

  • EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — EMDRIA-trained and evidence-based, EMDR helps the brain process and release traumatic memories that have become stuck, reducing their emotional intensity and restoring a sense of safety and calm
  • Bowen Family Systems Theory — to explore the multigenerational transmission of trauma, attachment patterns, and emotional processes that shape how we relate to ourselves and others across generations
  • Mindfulness-Based Approaches — to build present-moment awareness, regulate the nervous system, and create a felt sense of safety in the body
  • Somatic Grounding — to gently address dissociation and emotional dysregulation by reconnecting the mind and body at a pace that never overwhelms

Every modality I use is chosen with one goal in mind to help you feel safe, regulated, and capable of building the connected, grounded life you deserve.

Areas of Focus

Complex PTSD & Trauma Therapy
Complex PTSD develops over time through repeated exposure to trauma, chronic stress, or prolonged adverse experiences, often beginning in childhood. Unlike single-incident trauma, complex PTSD can affect every area of life, from how you regulate emotions to how you trust others. Using EMDR and trauma-informed care, I help clients process what happened, reduce distressing symptoms, and reclaim a sense of safety and wholeness.

Dissociation & Emotional Dysregulation
Dissociation is one of the mind's most powerful protective responses to overwhelming experience but when it becomes a default, it can make it difficult to feel present, connected, or in control. I specialize in helping clients understand their dissociative experiences, develop grounding skills, and gently build a more regulated, embodied way of living.

Attachment Healing
Our earliest relationships shape the blueprint for every relationship that follows. When those early attachments were inconsistent, unsafe, or painful, the effects can ripple across a lifetime. I help clients identify their attachment patterns, understand how those patterns show up in their current relationships, and do the deep, meaningful work of building more secure connections with others and with themselves.

Intergenerational & Adverse Childhood Trauma
Trauma doesn't always begin with us sometimes it is passed down through families across generations, showing up in emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and nervous system responses that feel confusing or out of place. I help clients understand and heal the intergenerational roots of their trauma, using Bowen Family Systems Theory to trace and interrupt cycles that have been repeating for far too long.

Children & Teen Therapy (Ages 7+)
Children and teenagers experience trauma differently than adults and they need a therapist who understands how to work with them in developmentally appropriate, trauma-sensitive ways. I provide a safe, nurturing space where young clients can process their experiences, build emotional regulation skills, and develop the resilience they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their relationships.

Family Therapy
Trauma is rarely just one person's story it lives in families, in the spaces between people, in the patterns that get passed down without anyone realizing it. I work with families to identify how trauma and attachment wounds are affecting their dynamics, improve communication, and begin the collective work of healing together.

Identity Exploration
The process of understanding who you are your cultural identity, gender identity, racial identity, or sense of self can be deeply intertwined with trauma, family dynamics, and attachment. I provide a warm, affirming space for clients at any stage of identity exploration, honoring the full complexity of who they are and who they are becoming.
